This hostel is right in the middle of everything. the spacious and comfortable dorms, clean bathrooms, and ample storage space make it a great option for those with physical handicaps. the availability of sockets and lights by each bed is convenient. the breakfast offered is above average for a hostel. the staff are friendly and helpful, adding to the enjoyable experience. Free tea and water are available throughout the day. the location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and popular tourist areas.
Felt well taken care of, nothing to complain about.

well of course as many already mentioned before me, location is the best. plus if you get a female 6 beds room, you will only share bathroom with 5 people, which is super nice. definitely you will need a towel. i had room on a third floor with great view onto the river. bus from airport 16a is very close and so easy to find this hostel. i will stay only in abigail if i travel to dublin again.
to use internet on their computers way too expensive . 4 euros for an hour. come on! plus it is so slow that it took all my minutes to download important paperwork from online.

My family and I were hostelling for the first time and we choose Abigail's because of the price and location. I was a bit apprehensive at first about booking online because the pictures looked to good to be true but to my delight they were dead on. If you want a great hostelling experience at a good price and good location my family and I would highly recommend staying at Abigail's to anyone.

I got great value for my money with a clean and comfortable room. The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The breakfast option could use some improvement, maybe add some more variety to the choices.

We had a great stay at Abigail's! It was relatively cheap, 5 of us in a private 6 bed dorm, with ensuite. Room was clean. There are no towels so bring your own and you have to make up your own beds- which we thought was funny! In a perfect spot for Templebar- we sat in the sun all day! Staff were friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was unexpectedly good- toast and cereal- coffee was horrible though- stick to tea! Very secure. Woke up to a view over the Liffey. Would def stay again!
No towels was a bit of a hassle, and nice coffee would have been a bonus! Wouldn't stop me returning! Also we booked a few months in advance and I was gutted to find that a week before our stay they pretty much halved the price of the room1 so I'd recommend risking it and booking last minute if you can- saves you about 60/70 Euros as a group!!

The location was perfect, right by the river and close to many bus stops. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. the free breakfast provided was simple but filling, a great way to start the day.
The room I stayed in had some issues. the bathroom had a weak and slow flushing system, which was a bit inconvenient.

Location
No towels, no table, not even a chair, no tv in the room. We had a double room and paid the price of 60 EUR/night. Clean room, but not having anything to put our things on, really disappointed us. If we had known this, we would have rented something else with this rate. Poor breakfast.

The amenities were impressive, with an elevator, plenty of hot water, and reliable WiFi that even my iPhone automatically logged onto. the bed had a convenient headboard with electricity and USB connections. When we had an issue with the shower, the staff promptly gave us a new room. the location was excellent, the staff helpful, and we felt safe throughout our stay. One unexpected highlight was the free breakfast, which had a wide variety of food options. As vegans, we appreciated being able to combine it with our own food and add extra servings when needed. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! 😊.

Free breakfast, very clean, very safe, and helpful staff.
A bit loud during the evenings, not a great place if you want to get to bed early.
